The Marketing Specialist will function in a dual design/writing role—depending on team’s workflow and project needs—and will be responsible for designing and/or writing content for custom proposals and presentations, as well as developing off-the-shelf content and templates for our marketing SharePoint library. Must work collaboratively with other designers and writers on our team, sometimes leading projects and other times assisting/supporting senior writers and designers. Will also interface with our team’s key business stakeholders to gain insight about clients and projects, and then translate that knowledge to develop differentiating content to support business development efforts. 2+ years of experience in business development marketing or related experience required. Strong creativity and proficiency in InDesign (and other Adobe Creative Suite applications) and MS Office Suite is required. Real estate experience is preferred.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorks collaboratively with marketing director, marketing managers, and graphic designers to prepare proposal and presentation materials, including writing/editing support, creative graphic design and production coordination (with internal resources and external vendors).Proactively communicates with teammates to ensure schedules are met and the various aspects of proposals, presentations, and other marketing activities are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.Contributes to knowledge management initiative, including development of new content and templates, and maintaining/updating marketing SharePoint library of business development content and collateral materials.Displays positive attitude, flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Other duties may be assigned as Marketing Specialist learns and grows in the role.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo supervisory responsibilities in this position.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
