Position Description CGI is looking for a talented Mobile Application Developer who has a passion for solving problems. Your future duties and responsibilities We are looking for a strong Mobile Application Developer to work on development of a new native mobile application. You will be a part of an initiative from kickoff through production launch and you will work closely with the client and CGI team to continuously develop and improve the mobile application.• Participate in the full software development life cycle from analysis, design, implementation, and quality assurance to delivery and support• Build CI/CD pipelines and leverage DevOps principles with tools such as Azure DevOps• Meet with clients to determine the business need and design the appropriate technical solution• Be part of a fast-paced team providing leading IT solutions to local enterprise clients• Mentor and support new and junior team members• Collaborate with team members to find better, more efficient ways of doing things• Work with team members to estimate project tasks

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• 2+ years of experience in hands on mobile application development experience for iOS or Android• Strong experience in one or more cross-platform mobile frameworks such as Xamarin or Apache Cordova• Solid grasp of full mobile development life cycle• Experience with building end-to-end web applications and APIs• Experience with .NET Core (C#), Oracle, and Entity Framework Core• Familiarity with Repository Design Pattern, Dependency Injection, Restful web services, OAuth, and JWT• UI/UX design experience• Strong interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication• Strong problem solving skills with a relentless attention to detail• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts (SME)• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or related field required

Desired Qualifications• Experience with microservice architecture• Experience delivering in a SCRUM environment• Experience with SAFe principles for scaled agile implementations• Knowledge of platform specific standards and paradigms (iOS, Android) and experience in designing for maximum cross-platform reusability• Demonstrated ability to recognize business needs, prioritize requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and lead in delivering solutions
