MDM Mobility Solutions Engineer

Position Highlights:

Work with ops and sales teams to create, implement and support end-to-end MDM solutions for end clients
Expert with MDM solutions engineering and deployments to an external client utilizing AirWatch

Summary:

Vaco has partnered with our Atlanta based client for a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Solutions Engineer to design and support hardware, software, and cloud services to help deploy, manage, track, and audit mobile devices for external customers. The Solutions Engineer will manage an onshore and offshore team and is responsible for system architecture, tracking, and troubleshooting mobile devices and administering the AirWatch cloud environment. This individual manages, maintains supports, troubleshoots, and optimizes the mobile cloud environment, its related mobile devices, and suggests adjustments and new system designs for future needs.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading external client deployments of MDM solution utilizing onshore and offshore teams

Tablet, phone and mdm device problem diagnosis and resolution.

Systems Administration of the consumer MDM products

Enforce mobile device policies and procedures in the MDM consumer MDM product space

Provide support for loading commercial off-the-shelf and in-housed develop mobile applications into the AirWatch application catalog and help deployment of those applications.

Ensure the is ready for installations, deployments and, troubleshooting of new releases and also evaluate new OS mobile device releases for IOS, Android, and Windows.

Respond to requests from internal and authorized external business units in a timely manner.

Prioritize and execute tasks in a time-sensitive environment.

Ability and desire to conduct research and resolve tickets from the end user community for mobile device issues and new products.

Work with a team of engineers to plan, design, develop, build, and deploy new MDM solutions.

Requirements/Experience:

MDM deployment and four years of relevant work experience with mobile devices.

Knowledgeable in managing iOS and Android devices

Experience Windows server 2008/2012 installation and maintenance

Three years of AirWatch MDM Workspace One administration and support.

Excellent teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills.

On-call and available to independently monitor requests after-hours/weekends.

Perform other duties as deemed necessary and assigned by the customer and management

Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
