- Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems
- Design, implement, and support a Cisco centric WAN, LAN, and WLAN environment. This includes routers, firewalls, security, wireless, LAN switching, and Nexus Data Center.
- Helps maintain proper use of network monitoring systems
- Implement and push firewall rules, Configure LTM, F5 pool etc.
- Run application performance and packet analysis using Wireshark.
- Support site to site VPNs and client VPN solutions
- Work with emerging technologies such as SD-WAN or Data Center products.
- Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of case notes, Knowledge base and network diagrams
- Assist with Voice over IP implementation and support
- Follow proper change management processes and escalation procedures
- Ensure customers receive prompt, accurate and courteous service
- Assist in the development of documentation and SOP’s for the department
- Assist other team members with special projects and technology rollouts
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
