Position DescriptionUnder general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluate diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling.
Position RequirementsKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED1. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.2. Successful completion of an accredited Masters of Science in Nursing Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program.3. Current certification by an approved certifying organization (i.e. National Certification Board of PNP, National Certification, National Certification Corporation, American Nurses Credentialing Center…)4. Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
