Job Summary: Key Learning & Development leader supporting an Operational Business Function, or Center of Excellence. L&D leader will be responsible to partner with assigned function (center of excellence) to help design, deliver and implement learning solutions that help drive capabilities through the functional area & to the customers that the functional area supports, in this case Supply Chain & our Manufacturing Sites. The L&D leader will also be responsible to support key standard learning processes for the functional / COE area; like Orientation, Onboarding & employee Development. They will support the Ops, L&D Divisional Leads in the 3 key Operations areas to ensure the capabilities are integrated into our Manufacturing Sites L&D processes. Annually this lead will be a key strategic learning thought leader to ensure that the annual learning plan for delivery & design is supportive of the Functions/COE strategic needs. The L&D lead is a part of the larger Ops, L&D team & the Talent Management team for WestRock. They regularly partner with the TM team & Learning Systems & Design team to ensure we are developing and delivering learning experiences and processes common across the organization. Key stakeholders for this leader are Quality, Reliability COE Leads & Engineering Leads, HRBP for Quality, Reliability & Engineering. The role reports through the Operations, Learning & Development Leader for the company. This leader is accountable to deliver an annual learning plan for the Function/COE and design, deliver & implement all key capability needs through our common learning processes. Major Job Responsibilities:● Develop key relationships with Functional COE Leads / SME’s to gain buy in & support L&D across the area● Scale enterprise L&D processes through Function & into our sites through our common Learning and Training Processes (Orientation, Onboarding, OJT, Developmental Learning Pathways) ● Continuously improve learning experiences & capabilities to drive COE/Functional Business Priorities & Strategies ● Work regularly with the broader Ops, L&D team & TM team to support our TM mission for the company ● Ensure annual learning plans are aligned, built and able to be delivered annually ● Manage a functional /COE budget for learning & development ● Utilize agreed upon learning systems to assign, track, deploy and report on learning & training across their space● Design learning solutions using various learning methods (Classroom, E-Learning, Micro Learning & as needed Video and Vendor Learning) for functional area aligned to common Learning Branding & Standards as set through the Learning COE. What you need to succeed:Critical Skills/Capabilities:

Learning Systems: Has a learning systems mindset & understand how capabilities need to be integrated effectively into learning/training processes, so that they can be sustained

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Learning Management Systems

Industry knowledge in manufacturing, quality

Learning Design & Delivery Experience (preferred in functional / COE area - industry)

Ability to partner with business and create annual learning plans to support a business strategy

Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Forms

Education Experience Preferences:

5-7 Years of Experience in Industry (Supply Chain, Mfg, Learning)

Must have Learning Design & Delivery/Facilitation Capabilities

Others Qualification:
