Analyst for our premier client in

Atlanta, Georgia. This is a

full-time, direct hire position.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and Certifications »
  • Project Management certification preferred.

Education and Experience »
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Finance preferred.
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in a business analyst role (IT or Functional) supporting Back-Office ERP applications required.
  • Working Experience Retail and Service companies preferred.
  • Proven experience in Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, General Ledger and Fixed Assets systems and processes (Tier one ERP preferred).
  • Experience with the following technologies is required either as an IT professional or as a function power user.
  • Experience with best in class BI tools.
  • Work experience in Cloud based applications preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum Experience and Working knowledge of JIRA Preferred.
  • Worked with best in class ERP. Experience with Oracle preferred.

  • Ability to write simple SQL queries Oracle/MS SQL Server and other databases preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of Back-Office processes and relevant applications.
  • Project management skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with peers, management and internal/external customers or vendors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Working with department to help develop strategy and represent any issues, projects or enhancements needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert of “as-is” and “to-be” business process for the back-Office functions and assist with process definition, measurement and improvement.
  • Creates appropriate documentation for new and existing reporting. Maintains team knowledge management repositories, process flows and related artifacts.
  • Providing point of view on process and technology needs.
  • Validates proposed enhancements and evaluates available technology to support the requests.
  • Elicit, capture, analyze, refine, articulate and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria based on input from business users and subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to project deliverables including project plan, status reports, test plans, validation protocols, etc.
  • Communicate status, business impacts and system changes to team members, business partners, sponsors, management and other interested parties.
  • Serve as key resource in the requirements gathering, design as well as testing phase.
  • Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing processes, policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed; especially regarding future business expansion.
  • Act as a subject matter expert of “as-is” and “to-be” business process for the Marketing team and assist with process definition, measurement and improvement.
  • Creates appropriate documentation for new and existing reporting. Maintains team knowledge management repositories, process flows and related artifacts.
  • Participates with the hardware vendor, software vendor and other stakeholders to drive requirements into deliverables.
  • In compliance with the company’s SDLC methodology, documents, designs and tests software and software changes while working directly with developers and end user customers.
  • Assist both 1st and 2nd line support teams with issue investigation when needed, while working to enhance their functional understanding of the system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
