Roles and Responsibilities: The Security Engineer is responsible for maintaining the application layer of the product suites. Activities will typically include:
  • Providing an overview of Delinea/Thycotic and equivalent Privileged Access Management solution capabilities
  • Implementing Delinea/Thycotic and other PAM solutions in client environments
  • Assessing and troubleshooting Delinea/Thycotic and other PAM solution installations
  • Assisting in the daily operations of Delinea/Thycotic and other PAM solutions
  • Execution of project tasks during engagement activities
  • Execution of daily tasks, support tickets, and provisioning tasks as assigned or routed via the ticketing system

Position Requirements:
  • 2-5 years relevant experience supporting Delinea/Thycotic or equivalent PAM solutions in an operational or consulting capacity
  • Must have strong proficiency and experience in Delinea/Thycotic Privileged Access Management Solutions (Note: applicants without past Delinea/Thycotic or PAM experience will not be considered).
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following security technologies: Privileged Access Management in addition to Delinea/Thycotic, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Configuration Management, Endpoint, SIEM, and general networking background
  • Proficiency in currently supported versions of operating systems including Windows Server, Windows Workstation, RHEL, CentOS and Ubuntu Linux
  • Proficiency in monitoring and defending attacks utilizing security technologies, including, privileged access events, advanced anti-malware solutions, network forensics, and visibility solutions
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to resolve issues
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong requirements elicitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities
  • Less than 10% out-of-town travel may be required to client locations. Security Engineers work from home when not visiting client locations

Education / Certifications Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Delinea Secret Server Certified Engineer certification preferred. Must possess the ability to attain Delinea Secret Server Certified Consultant within first six (6) months.
  • CISSP certification preferred
