Product Manager

Our client is a leader in the automotive industry and they are seeking a

Product Manager who will be responsible for the creation and execution of product experiences, integrations, and specs.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Serving as an an important member of the team by identifying opportunities to bring value to consumers and clients through discovery activities, crafting a vision and roadmap that aligns to strategic initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams from across the organization
  • Helping to socialize the vision, develop go-to-market strategies, and continuously look for the next big thing to improve the shopping to buying experience
  • Creating Epics and Features and ensuring it aligns across products; managing feature creation, identifying business rules and business impact
  • Managing the innovation pipeline, developing, adapting, and using innovation tools and processes (HCD, Design sprints, etc.)
  • Partnering closely with UX, market research, sales, and business stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of consumers, clients, and the competitive landscape
  • Assessing product performance against KPIs and making corrections to improve performance; creating and delivering thoughtful information to influence key market constituents; making end-of-life recommendations for non-performant products
  • Prioritizing product requirements and working with product owners as well as product to prioritize the backlog
  • Translating stakeholder engagement strategies into specific activities and deliverables
  • Acting as SME for product lines and supporting various stakeholder requests throughout product lifecycle

Here's what our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field; Masters degree preferred
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience
  • Working knowledge for SAFe Agile Methodology
  • Ability to develop a wide breadth of knowledge across the industry or business
  • Ability to apply knowledge to help to define the standards which others will apply
  • Working experience in design, development and implementation of product plans
  • Working experience in full product lifecycle methodologies
  • Ideal candidates have a background in eCommerce or marketplace web experiences
  • Automotive experience a plus but not required
