Product Manager, SEO Job Description
PRODUCT MANAGER, SEO - APARTMENTS.COM - ATLANTA, GAOVERVIEW Are you curious, highly strategic, and excited about organic growth? As Product Manager, SEO, you'll leverage your abilities to drive and execute SEO-focused product improvements for the Apartments.com Network of rental brands.As a valued member of our industry-leading product and SEO teams, you'll be part of a dynamic, motivated team that has high standards, is never satisfied with the status quo, and is is the driving force for our business. You'll collaborate with team members to drive and execute SEO-focused product improvements, ensure each feature delights our users, optimize our sites to meet users in their search journey and deliver organic search traffic and help the team continually add to the organic reach of Apartments.com.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- You will identify opportunities to grow organic search traffic across all Apartments.com network properties.
- You will identify SEO enhancements using data, with a bias towards building at scale.
- You will evaluate Apartments.com SEO performance, perform market research, and report on performance to key stakeholders.
- You will build business cases for new product features and/or existing feature enhancements with insights and recommendations.
- You will plan and oversee SEO initiatives for sites in the Apartments.com network.
- You will collaborate with UX design, product managers, and development on applying SEO best practices to product features.
- You will run experiments to define the best opportunities for growth.
- You will participate and contribute to the agile product development process and own implementation of SEO features.
- Bachelor's degree in product management, applied mathematics, psychology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting product growth or in-house SEO efforts
- Experience communicating SEO concepts, features, vision, and strategy to cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, developers, and business leaders in a constructive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of growing organic traffic and/or revenue through product features and experiments.
- Experience designing and delivering website product features for consumers
- Experience with the agile methodology and scrum framework
- Strong grasp of analytical concepts with experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
- Experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools.
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA), or related discipline
- Experience optimizing online marketplaces and/or large enterprise websites
- Experience using Azure DevOps/TFS, Aha!, and/or Jira
- Experience using SQL, Google Analytics, FullStory, and/or other analytics tools
- Experience using enterprise crawling tools such as Botify, DeepCrawl, etc.
- Experience conducting SEO experiments, A/B tests, and/or multivariate tests
- Experience analyzing and evaluating the success metrics of website or product feature
