Program Manager Sales Technology

What We Need FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Program Manager Sales Technology. This position falls under our North American Fuel line of business and is located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will Lead and provide work direction to a project team to determine project scope, devise and maintain a workable plan, and to develop and deploy the solution in accordance with the needs of the project. Own the delivery of project/programs end to end and provide all formal project status reporting. Develop and maintain all project manager deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Identify project risks, develop a risk management plan and actively manage risk throughout the project lifecycle. Manage interaction between the customer, vendors, and the internal project team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes. Works cross departmentally to establish priorities and delivery dates for all projects based on bandwidth and business objectives. Manage the project change control process, status reporting, project estimating, monthly cost accounting and vendor invoice processing. Develops and/or monitors vendor deliverables in compliance with binding statements of work. You will report directly to Ratheesh Shenoy.

Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Influencing and managing project teams and cross-functional team members without formal direct reporting relationships
  • Analytical skills are required to effectively manage activities related to budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, process management, risk management, quality control and reporting/
  • Ability to quickly analyze data and make good decisions.
  • Superior organizational, time-management, negotiation, influencing and communication skills (verbal and written) and experience leveraging these skills to interact with all levels of management.
  • Passion for managing large scale projects/programs that impact a large internal user and/or customer base to ensure the high-quality end-user experience.
  • Ability to lookout for risk and come up with sound mitigation plans. Knows how to ask the hard questions of the team and continuously confirms decisions, timelines, and dependencies. Can identify risk early, find the cause(s) of the problem, weigh different option, define and implement the best solution possible.
  • Ability to be a champion for change and continuous improvement within technology and the business.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional team with respect towards others and focused on successfully meeting team goals.
  • Establishing a high level of trust and credibility internally, with clients, independent associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and work with the team to overcome challenges. Must be able to quickly come up with a workaround or change course is absolutely necessary to be successful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responding to and/or handles escalations received from management or customers in a timely fashion, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated to the appropriate group.
Qualifications & Skills
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Agile certifications preferred (Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, SAFE, etc)
  • Ability to manage projects leveraging Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Work with team to plan "Release's/Launch" to market, or internal stakeholders including defining release objectives, timelines, risks, success criteria.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience managing multiple medium/high complexity projects in a matrix resource environment, working with diverse project sponsors across multi-company and business units
