Project Manager – Will Start RemoteNE Atlanta GA. Zip Code 30303Contract With appropriate oversight, initiates, manages, and leads multiple projects and initiatives at the Division, District, and/or System level to achieve major business strategies and direction.

Directly and/or indirectly supervises and guides project members, technical and analytical support staff to accomplish objectives. Provides expertise in business processes and/or IT systems.

Responsible for development of project plans and execution of project deliverables.

Responsible for devising and/or modifying and ensuring implementation of associated operating procedures.

Ensures leadership and other constituents are informed of project progress, findings, and deployment plans.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience: Three to five years preferred Strong knowledge of technology/IT services industry

Strong analytical skills

Strong verbal and written skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong team building skills Basic knowledge of technology platforms

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Waterfall)

Knowledge of Portfolio, Program, Project management applications PMP certification (preferred)

Responsibilities: With guidance and direction from management, manages and leads multiple projects and initiatives at the Division, District and System level to advance the development of IT technological solutions, products, or services. Projects often involve technical product development and require a high level of IT, business, and technical acumen. Follows project schedules developed in coordination with management.

Manages projects by outlining project requirements in terms of resources, equipment, time and costs. Responsible for development and coordination of business requirements and overall project plans.

Communicates project progress, findings, output and deployment plans to leadership and all constituents.

Leads (directly and indirectly) project teams in execution of projects. Confers with and advises team participants on policies and procedures, priorities and methods.

Consults with personnel in other business areas to coordinate activities. Responsible for administrative functions in managing the team and project deliverables.

Possesses thorough knowledge of project management principles to recommend and negotiate project direction and objectives.

Utilizes knowledge of latest trends related to information technology and project management to identify and apply qualitative and quantitative best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Acts as an escalation point for conflicts, risks, issues and action items as brought forth by direct reports or project team. Responds to issues or problems that arise in day-to-day project operations and/or during development efforts.

Meets with appropriate staff to define and investigate problems or issues and propose solutions with time and cost estimates. Verifies results of all changes and/or enhancements.

Ensures new and enhanced products, solutions, or services comply and conform to the latest industry rules and regulations and Federal Reserve policy and procedures. Remains current on emerging technologies and the project management discipline through Federal Reserve initiatives and other research, seminars, and workshops.

May participate on System work groups and work with staff throughout the System to foster communication and sharing of best practices. Includes coordinating with internal and external resources for the planning, development and implementation of new services or enhancements to existing services.
