- Manage project tasks (gathering requirements, facilitating design discussions, managing application development, testing, training, and implementations/roll-outs) as required to keep projects on track.
- Build and track a project schedule with key milestones, critical path dependencies and resource tracking.
- Provide customer service responsibilities, including managing expectations, communicating project status, and reporting on lessons learned and retrospective findings.
- Manage communication of status, issues, and project budget to teams, clients, vendors, and management to ensure key deliverables are met.
- Plan, organize, and integrate cross-functional project deliverables.
- Manage issue, risk, action, and decision logs and documents key business decisions for projects and initiatives.
- 5+ years experience performing in a project management role overseeing IT projects
- Experience working in a State Government environment deploying or maintaining IT systems
- Experience with Response for Proposal/Request for Information analysis and response
- 5+ years documenting systems, standard operating procedures, and/or governance documentation related to IT systems
- 3+ years experience business process improvements and performance business analysis
- PMP Certification
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, high level of motivation, decisiveness, and flexibility
