Location : Atlanta, GA Contract to Hire QA Engineer What you will do
- Write test cases, test plans
- Perform functional testing per sprint
- Write regression test automation code to test all levels of the platform
- Collaborate with the development team to deliver quality customer-facing features
- Influence go / no go decisions
- Had 3+ years of experience as a test engineer
- Tested progressive web apps with Angular or a similar framework with AWS DynamoDB
- Tested RESTful services and HTTP APIs
- Performed Regression Testing
- Continually Automate Regression Test cases by using Selenium, Postman or other tools
- Developed Java code (or in other coding languages), used Mango DB to write custom code test backend functionality
- Used a test case management tool
- Used a test case automation tool
- Generated QA Summary reports per sprint
- Worked with offshore teams
- A commitment to writing reliable, maintainable test cases that provide thorough test coverage
- An understanding of data-driven and test-driven approach
- A strong sense of ownership of the quality over the entire platform
- Passion for continuously improving your craft
- Coaching and mentoring others via collaborations and test case reviews
- Challenge offshore QA when estimations do not seem close to being accurate
- Be organized and have a plan for the upcoming work by providing good test coverage
- Communicate openly and clearly about questions or concerns
- Course correct based on feedback
- Candidates with QA Automation tools experience (such as eggplant) is preferred
