Motivated by the highest possible stakes of climate change and global health, we’re working together within a rapidly digitizing industry to find innovative technologies that guarantee the safety of our water and our environment.We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to cover the Florida, Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi, region. Working from a home office in this role will create and execute a growth strategy for the region, positioning McCrometer’s metering solutions (https://www.mccrometer.com/products) in municipal, industrial and oil & gas vertical markets. This includes both indirect (through channel partners) sales and direct sales. This region has experienced high growth over the last two years and there is plenty of untapped potential. Come be a part of a large, Fortune 500 company like Danaher with the close-knit community feel of a small company! This role will travel within the region from 30-50% of the time. Travel could be out and back in a day, or potentially 1-3 overnights depending on the location of the customer/reason for visit. Responsibilities:

Develop, and execute a sales strategy that results in revenue growth in the region

Build relationships and effectively communicate the benefits and value of McCrometer’s metering solutions.

Set sales goals with channel partners and work collaboratively with them to ensure achievement and sustainment. This role has a focus on channel management

Actively utilize and update the CRM system (SFDC) with accurate data to effectively manage the funnel of opportunities

Prepare sales reports and sales forecasts

Attend trade shows and industry conferences to stay abreast of market developments and serve as an ambassador of McCrometer’s solutions

Educate customers, dealers, and distributors on the product portfolio and value proposition

Follow-up on customer issues and collaborate cross-functionally to help resolve problems

Assess competitive landscape and provide market and customer feedback

Stay informed on the regulatory landscape in applicable states

Observes and follow all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

5+ years of outside sales experience in an industrial business

Flowmeter experience and/or familiarity in water/wastewater, oil & gas, and industrial applications. Technical knowledge with instrumentation for pressure, temperature, pumps and flow is critical.

Knowledge and use of personal computers, and common business productivity tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, project scheduling tools, etc.

Highly preferred qualifications and competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, initiative, flexibility

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and activities and prioritize workload

Ability to be proactive and excel in a fast-paced environment
