Requisition Number: 81145 Here at Insight we are seeking a Linux SFTP Engineer to assist with the planning and migration of their current SFTP environment to a new one (already in place) . This role can be remote but person needs to be in the Eastern Time Zone

Responsibilities: The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Review the current SFTP environment.
Work with internal and external clients to understand their jobs, impact, etc.
Work with the appropriate teams to schedule job migrations and perform the migration, including testing and verification.
Provide day one post migration support.

Qualifications: Candidate must have:

At least 5 years of Linux Experience including builds, troubleshooting, support, etc
Good understanding and experience with SFTP solutions, preferably Tumbleweed & Quick Connect (sftpapp.com)
Ability to interact with clients, both technical and non-technical, for discovery, planning, migration and support purposes.
Good understanding and experience with Security Certificates and their functionality.
Strong understanding of firewalls and DMZ's.
Good Experience migrating file systems and data between Linux Servers, including migration of folder structures and permissions.
Experience creating SFTP jobs - both via scripts (automation\scheduled) and via SFTP fat clients.
Good understanding of, switching, routing, high-availability, LAN / WAN / WLAN topologies, Proxies and Load Balancers.
Good understanding and experience with LDAP\AD authentication.
Good Scripting skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong Communication skills
Be a strong team player
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
