If you're looking for a firm with a strong team connection where you can be your whole self, have an impact, advance your skills, deepen your experiences, and have the flexibility and access to constantly find new areas of inspiration and expand your capabilities, then consider a career in Advisory.KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate - ESG Climate Data Energy to join our Environmental, Social and Governance practiceResponsibilities:Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries such as Oil & Gas, Consumer Retail and Life Sciences, to assist companies in meeting their climate, sustainability and ESG goals in response to the complex and evolving regulatory and business environment, risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability, Climate-related Risks, Decarbonization and ESG, with a focus on climate data, reporting and technology

Support client engagements and workstreams related to operational analysis, sustainability/ESG strategy, decarbonization, methods, framework and implementation of related processes and software tools to support clients achieve sustainability/ESG objectives

Assist with the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards) and definition of business requirements for reporting (internal and external)

Work with engagement teams to perform fieldwork, including data collection, analysis and work paper documentation; prepare, edit and proo narrative reports and presentation of observations and recommendations

Apply well-developed consulting skills and in-depth industry and functional knowledge in the definition and implementation of recommendations related to sustainability/ESG programs

Support proposal development and other new business development activities

Qualifications:Minimum three years of technical consulting experience; sustainability and environmental consulting experience preferred

Bachelor抯 degree: in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred

Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP and/or Salesforce); SQL, Tableau, Power BI and Python is preferred

Knowledge of GHG emissions accounting, climate risk assessment and climate scenario analysis

Knowledge of data engineering and analysis, data life cycle management; familiarity with AI and machine learning

Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks such as SASB, TCFD, GRI, CDP

Ability to travel at least 50%
