Requisition Number: 202103987 The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for building, implementing, and supporting business reporting and intelligence solutions to support the operational success of Manheims auctions and other Manheim Initiatives. The Sr. Business Analyst will partner and collaborate with various internal groups to gain a well-rounded understanding of Manheims businesses as well as associated data. In addition, the Sr. Business Analyst must be self-driven and have an excellent blend of analytical, technical and communication skills. Primary Duties:
  • Perform complex analysis of data, identify trends and create benchmarks
  • Support efforts to define and implement enterprise data definitions, data governance and data stewardship
  • Maintain effective communication with internal business partners and external constituents to ensure business needs are met appropriate for a wide range of audience members
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert working with business stakeholders to understand, define and support data requirements
  • Develop front-end reports, interfaces and queries to provide data access to business users
  • Partner with other team members to share insights, expertise and best practices

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience required.
  • 5 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in data warehousing and business intelligence tools preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL required, with experience in Alteryx, SAP Business Objects, Hyperion and AWS preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Tableau or similar dashboarding tools creating visually based methods of presenting information preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to draw connections between data metrics and potential business drivers
  • Proven ability to work effectively within complex decision-making and organizational structures
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (excel, power point) required
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Other duties as needed or required
  • Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements.
