Senior Monitoring Engineer (UIM). This is a 12 + months contract opportunity (with long-term potential) and is located in Atlanta, GA. - This position will involve working closely with IT technical areas and process owners in order to develop, execute and troubleshoot monitoring solutions. This role will lead planning activities and have extensive project and BAU responsibilities, including:
- Responsible for troubleshooting, support and maintenance of CA UIM infrastructure
- Plan, coordinate and implement product upgrade and patches for the CA UIM infrastructure
- Analyze technical architecture of systems and applications to understand dependencies, points of failure, impacts, and external and internal interfaces, to provide monitoring recommendations.
- Provides level 3 assistance and expert knowledge when necessary.
- Expected to be the subject matter expert for CA UIM.
- Experience with supporting or setting up UIM in a multi-tiered hub HA environment utilizing queues for efficient message and alarm handling throughput
- Experience troubleshooting communication issues with robots and hubs Strong Linux os skills LUA, Shell, Perl scripting skills a plus
