At Delta Air Lines, we create world-class digital experiences that are customer-centric, innovative, easy-to-use and revenue-enhancing. Digital Product Managers work with various teams to create new and enhance current experiences on delta.com, the Fly Delta mobile app, and kiosks.

As the Senior Product Manager for Digital Self-Service Products such as Certificates, Seats, Itinerary Changes, and Bags, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers can effectively manage and complete their self-service experience through Delta's Digital channels. You will own, develop, and maintain the product roadmap for the self-service experiences to generate revenue, increase digital containment, and improve customer satisfaction. You will review the performance for your products regularly and identify new opportunities for growth, while keeping your stakeholders up to-date and building consensus around the initiatives you are pursuing.

An ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, action oriented, results driven leader that enjoys both innovative thinking and problem solving equally and is confident in their ability to quickly take products to market on behalf of Delta's customers.

This position is located in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop products and new features from concept to launch using agile principles
  • Use customer insights, stakeholder feedback, market research and product analytics to develop and own your product roadmap for self-service products in Delta's digital channels
  • Lead teams of IT Developers, Testers, UX Designers, Analysts, and cross-functional business teams to successfully deliver initiatives
  • Partner with stakeholders to align priorities and collaborate on the shared vision
  • Define success criteria and metrics of new products, and measure performance using customer feedback, product analytics and product health data to determine enhancement opportunities
  • Mentor junior team members

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, consulting, and/or business development
  • Experience leading large, multi-phased commercial projects required
  • Proven ability to influence without authority by building strong relationships and partnerships across in highly matrix environment
  • Self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully organize and drive success in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment with competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to manage change successfully
  • Strong analytical acumen, design experience, and technical competency
  • Experience delivering executive presentations and defining strategic vision for products
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Knowledge of Delta Air Lines, the airline industry, retail, travel landscape or consumer insights preferred
  • Experience with VersionOne (Agility), Adobe Analytics (Omniture/Site Catalyst) and Adobe Experience Manager preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business - or related equivalent experience preferred
