YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE

  • Your primary role is to design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use,
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications, features, and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, highly efficient, supportable, and well documented code for the full technological stack
  • Contribute to agile development teams following 12 Factor application development principles
  • Participate in design meetings and consult with business clients to prioritize key business/technical initiatives and refine, test, and debug programs to meet business needs
  • Understands user and process requirements and ensures those requirements can be achieved through high-quality deliverables.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • At least 7 years of Java/J2EE development, hands-on troubleshooting, and deployment experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with AWS or other Cloud development a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of full stack Cloud-native development, Single Page Application (SPA) concepts, Angular 6+, React, RESTful APIs and microservices with Springboot
  • Solid knowledge and experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases
  • Knowledge and experience with DevOps: Git, Jenkins and/or Ansible
  • Solid knowledge and experience with Test Driven Development with a testing framework. Knowledge of Cucumber and Selenium is a plus.
