Senior Software Engineer Nice CEA is looking to fill a position for Senior Software Engineer within the core technology team based in Atlanta, Ga. This is a hands-on lead development position involving the design and implementation of new and extended features of the next generation workbench engine to support much of the Nice analytics suite. Primary duties include: • Working closely with the research team to turn research code into robust, scalable and maintainable production code for the Nice analytics suite • Develop high performance code to maximize performance (speed, memory utilization, efficiency) in a broad range of environments • Design, extend & enhance our existing engine to work in a broad range of environments, including large private server clusters and AWS. • Provide support and problem resolution for production environments as neededMinimum requirements: • Bachelor's degree in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience. • 2 yrs experience in C development for enterprise applications, including multi-thread, high-performance applications- 3 yr experience with Windows based development using VS2019 or later
- 1 yr experience in linux based development
- Very knowledgeable in enterprise software lifecycle development and corresponding tools (source control, build systems, automated testing, etc.)
- Strong writing & communication skills
- 3 yrs C code experience using C 14 or later language constructs
- Familiarity with native media libraries such as ffmpeg , opus, or equivalent open source media libraries
- Experience with using open source AI libraries such as cuda , kaldi , or onnx runtime
- Experience with speech-to-text technologies (ASR)
- Any experience in developing/deploying large scale server applications
- Cloud-based (emphasis on AWS) development experience
- In-depth experience using VMs and docker containers
