Position Description
The Senior Solutions Analyst for Business Intelligence & Data Strategies (BIDS) team is responsible for delivering solutions in both the BI space and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to benefit Northside Hospital (NSH). This position is required to develop accurate high quality BI reporting, visualizations, analytics and results driven solutions via any of the technologies supported in NSH. The Analyst should be up to date on the latest technologies being utilized with-in the BIDS team and be able to adapt to additional tools as they become available. The position also requires strategic enterprise data deliverables including but not limited to; properly structuring data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), optimizing end user consumables from the EDW, creating mechanisms for non-system specific data to be incorporated into the EDW. This includes data or solution architecting, data architecting, ETL best practices, and programming/scripting languages for operations of Netezza, SQL Server, IBM Infosphere Datastage and .Net Web Applications. Candidates must have excellent technical aptitude and an affinity for data and analysis. The individual must also communicate effectively and have the aptitude to learn, engage and utilize new vendor applications and tools quickly. Additional areas of responsibilities include - Assisting in mentoring other BIDS team members on proper BI and EDW development - Being able to clearly and effectively communicate to internal and external contacts - Capable of leading projects with minimal oversite Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREDVacancy expired!
