OverviewItential is searching for a Senior UI & Wordpress Developer to join our design team in the Atlanta office! Job DescriptionThis role will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development of multiple websites, entities, and applications, including customizing WordPress themes and implementing & maintaining WordPress plugins. You have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems. You are a capable WordPress developer but also a master of modern UI development, proficient in JavaScript and CSS. Knowledge of React is also preferred, as you will be a key resource for our product developers.Technologies We Use: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, React, Angular, WordPressResponsibilities and Duties
Maintain and manage multiple websites
Optimize sites for performance and SEO for both desktop and mobile
Design and implement new features and functionalities
Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS
Work with designers to deliver the best possible user experience with the ability to turn graphic design into website design
Ability to display complex content in an easy to consume manner
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years experience using front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React, Angular
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience developing responsive design websites with and without WordPress
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as GIT)
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/year, depending upon experienceLocation: Atlanta, GA (must be willing to relocate)Benefits and Perks
