Job Description

Overview:

The SEO Account Manager is referred to as a Content Manager (CM) at Performics. The CM is responsible for leading the success of clients’ online marketing programs, including organic search, content marketing, and conversion optimization. The CM provides technical recommendations, content strategies and thought leadership on organic search strategy optimization to stay on top of algorithmic updates; builds strong relationships and establishes clear lines of communication with clients, partners and internal staff members. The CM is analytical and uses problem-solving capabilities to assure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives.

  • SEO/web content strategy & account management

What you'll be doing in this role:

  • Uncover nifty and unique SEO strategies to implement on some of the world’s biggest websites
  • Analyze website and search engine performance from end-to-end using tools such as Google Search Console, Google/Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge & more
  • Identify trending keywords and topics to support fresh content ideas
  • Review technical SEO performance and work closely with our team of analysts to create solutions
  • Work with our team of copywriters to optimize on-site content, identify content gaps, and develop content calendars
  • Nerd out on SEO industry trends and insights
  • Communicate regularly with clients and showcase your amazing work\Collaborate with other team members on crafting SEO thought leadership, industry POVs, and The Featured Snippet e-newsletter

Team Leadership & Development

  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity. Adopts stated account management standards and program management best practices
  • Assists in training, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Reverse mentoring with another colleague of a different channel expertise

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred
  • 2-3 years of account management experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or SEO
  • Search, display, social, mobile, video or affiliate experience
  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
  • Minimum of 1-2 years as associate account manager or equivalent if internal candidate
  • High competency level in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
