Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow.Sr. Data EngineerPurpose:This role will interface directly with Product organization and be responsible for eliciting and documenting data requirements, translating them to technicaldesigns and developing solutions in the most appropriate cloud technology. This role will be expected to build strong partnerships with our business customers, work collaboratively with cross functional teams and inspire trust and confidence.Essential Duties:Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture,Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and GCP 'big data' technologies.Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and GCP regions.Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.Will analyze data, profile data, validate patterns, develop hypotheses on data and prove our hypothesis.Will manage queries to databases and construct prototype analysis and use cases reports to aid in the design and enable agile development.Will provide data sourcing, mapping, and complex formulation to derive critical company KPI'sWill conceptualize data sources and compile logical diagrams documenting the database content to business usersWill drive the process to document and For full info follow application link.TSYS is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) committed to employing a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.Qualified individuals with disabilities may be entitled to reasonable accommodations to assist in their pursuit of employment with TSYS.
