Ledgent Technology is actively looking for a Sr. JAVA Developer for a Permanent/Direct-Hire with our client based out of Atlanta.

Candidates MUST be located in the metro Atlanta area, and be available to work in a HYBRID work environment.

RequirementsMinimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with web application development - Java, J2EE, JSP, Spring, Spring Data, Bootstrap, OO Analysis and Design.
  • Spring(Required), Spring Data, Spring Boot, Angular
  • Strong proficiency in database design
  • Design/architecture experience is preferred
  • Experience with JSP, Javascript, AJAX, CSS, Servlets, Web Services(SOAP and REST), JDBC, Postgres, Git, Hibernate, Struts 2
  • Experience with legacy systems such as iSeries
  • Mobile Development Experience a plus (Ionic Framework)
  • Experience with performance tuning of applications including Java profiling, memory profiling, and database tuning
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are a must
  • Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors (Code Reviews), and overseeing plans to improve them
  • Ability to operate in a team environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and execute on aggressive deadlines
  • Flexible in a changing work environment, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • 4-year college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant working experience required
