- Secure large deployments in hybrid environments that include Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of procedural and technical security controls
- Collect, review, analyze and verify the performance of internal controls, as well as adherence to internal policy & procedures and customer security expectations
- Apply strong knowledge of security engineering standards, system hardening principles and investigative methods to SaaS service, provide security guidance broadly across the enterprise
- Conduct comprehensive threat analysis and risk identification across the enterprise
- Perform vendor security analysis and review in support of onboarding of software solutions and cloud service subscriptions
- Identify, evaluate, and prototype third party security solutions to address security needs
- Create, integrate, and operate security tools
- Apply security assessment tools and processes (such as external/application penetration testing, fuzzing, vulnerability scanners, SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, Static Code Analysis)
- Keep abreast of current and emerging technologies, develop proactive and reactive strategies to adapt to the evolving security landscape
- 7+ years of security experience within product development
- BA/BS in computer science, MIS or related degree
- Strong knowledge of desktop, server, application, and network security principles
- Strong scripting and/or development skills
- Experience and/or knowledge of cloud computing and SaaS application models, Unix/Linux
- Experience and/or knowledge containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience and/or knowledge of information security tools/systems: SIEM, EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building and establishing strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, including senior staff, the security team, and senior engineering product leaders
- Collaborative work style; effective communication; cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize tasks, aptitude for critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
- Great attitude, independent, and takes ownership of all tasks from start to end.
- Highly organized and comfortable working in a rapidly changing and ambitious environment.
- Experience and/or knowledge of FedRAMP, IRAP, DoD IL4/IL5
- Security certifications such as CISSPIH/GPEN a plus
