Job Description
- Develop and own components of a large scale distributed system with a keen sense for high performance and scalability
- You will be expected to participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition, design, through implementation and test
- Develop functional specifications, assess task requirements and scheduling, and participate in the development, debug and support
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience and proficiency in Java programming language (Back-end Application Development - not UI)
- Strong in Algorithms and Data Structures
- Strong in fundamentals - High-performance Computing, Event-based programming, Multi-threading, Memory optimization, Fault Tolerance etc
- Ability to work with Rest APIs from SaaS services like Gmail/Google Drive, Office 365/One Drive/SharePoint, Dropbox/Box, etc.
- Good understanding of distributed systems
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter takes initiative & ownership, identifies and completes tasks; goal driven
- Ability to work with remote teams, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
- You are a highly motivated, self-driven individual who relishes working in a startup environment
