 Primary Responsibilities:Coordinate with ML/AI model building and product teams to seek clarification, prepare technical specifications and develop or oversee the initiative from inception through installation.Code & unit test system components and applications in Java and other programming languagesWork independently with minimal guidance becoming a mentor and role model for other team membersSpecify architecture and lead software design efforts by adhering to best practices of security, scalability, performance, and manageabilityDevelop flexible cost-effective solutions to meet tactical and strategic business requirementsQuickly gain domain expertise in critical application areas to SME levelDevelop and document high level and detailed design specifications using the Object-Oriented paradigmDeliver quality code targeting zero defect policyChampion software development best practices such as software development standards, code reviews, secure coding practices, integration test etc.Proactively work to identify issues and provide solutions for the sameThis role does not support relocation.This role does not support immigration sponsorship.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
