Tableau dashboard/report Developer Location: Atlanta, GA/Remote

Duration: 5 months with possible contract to hire

Core database development skills (SQL or Access)

Dashboard and reporting development (Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects, etc.)

ETL development (Alteryx preferred)

A typical day in the role & expectations

A typical day would include

Knowledge transfer on existing reports and databases

Extending existing dashboards to add new data/functionality

Assessing new requirements/user stories for report and dashboard functionality

Suggesting efficiencies and automation for improving data processes

Expectations would include - Data architecture best practice knowledge

- Being self-starting

- Solid written and oral communications

- Creative problem solving

Performance metrics/goals & how you define success for this role (if known at this time)

Ability to take on existing dashboard and reporting infrastructure

Speed to being self-sufficient on existing code base

Usability and satisfaction for newly developed reports

Logistics: training if any and work schedule and location flexibility if any etc.

Anticipated knowledge sharing on specific reports and architecture

Responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Develops and executes data mining analyses. Uses program languages to extract data. Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information. Programs and writes queries and reports. Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues. Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables. Conducts training on use of applications developed. Requires a BS/BA degree; 2-3 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required. The majority of time will be spent programming. This job is focused on complex data mining analysis as compared to the Bus Info Developer job.

Required skill sets:

Tableau dashboard/report design and development

Service Now data model experience (particularly PPM)

Experience with Alteryx, and/or other ETL tools

Agile SDLC experience
