- This role will have the candidate taking reports on vulnerabilities, researching them, and working with various teams throughout the company to work on remediation of the vulnerabilities.
- You need to be able to have good communication skills to work with the various teams.
- Having a good understanding of AppSec, Risk and how to get teams to understand and move forward with remediation.
- Work and track vulnerabilities to completions.
- Background with AppSec, CVE, CWEs and other vulnerabilities remediation based on reporting. Work and track vulnerabilities to completions.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and synthesize technical vulnerability reports and prioritize findings based on risk.
- Ability to identify proper stakeholders and work with disparate teams across an enterprise organization.
- Ability to translate technical risk into business risk.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language that can be easily understood by business stakeholders.
- High-level understanding of OWASP Top Ten and CIS Critical Security Controls.
- High-level understanding of web application vulnerabilities and OS-level vulnerabilities.
- Experience with a scripting language (Python, Powershell, Bash, etc).
- Ability to automate manual tasks related to Data Analysis (data extraction/retrieval, data wrangling, data normalization, data visualization, etc).
