Landscape maintenance company looking to add new landscape maintenance foreman. Shop is located near I-285 and the South Cobb Dr exit in the Smyrna / NW Atlanta area.
We are looking for a new maintenance foremen with experience in the landscape maintenance. The position starts at $175 per day ($875 per week), based on experience and qualifications. We work Monday - Friday and you MUST arrive at the shop on time each morning by 630AM.
CANDIDATES FOR CONSIDERATION MUST MEET FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Direction of 3+ man crew on weekly maintenance route.
- Ability to train crew members
- Completion of maintenance route in a timely manner with adequate attention to detail.
- General knowledge of Landscape Maintenance including:
Mowing with various sizes mower decks and brands
Weed Eating
Edging and Blowing
Selective Pruning
Weed identification and control
Leaf and debris removal
Basic knowledge of general care and identification of Zone 7-9 Plant Material.
Basic weekly maintenance of all small landscape equipment and work truck.
- Proper communication with Client's on-site, regarding maintenance needs
- Regular communication with Manager.
- E-verification required.
- Prior experience in the landscape industry (5+ years)
- Prior experience as a crew Forman (2+ years)
- Able to maintain consistent level of quality expected by our clients and management
- Works well on with a team and as a leader
- Ability to operate landscape maintenance equipment (walk behind mowers, weed-eaters, edgers, and blowers.)
- Pass a drug test and background check
- ID for employment and tax purposes
7 paid federal holidays included (AFTER 3 months of continuous employment)
