Data Scientist – ATL Pay rate upto $75ph

Description

Role:We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our cross-functional Data Center of Excellence team. As part of the newly formed team consisting of a Data Architect/Engineer, Program Manager and Product Owner, they will be working to leverage and increase data science across our customer journey.

What they will do:• Push business thinking on the art of the possible with data, machine learning and advanced analytics• Work as the lead data scientist, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities to strategize and execute the development of data products• Execute machine learning experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across various business domains• Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy• Analyze data for trends and patterns and interpret data with a clear objective in mind• Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with the IT team.• Communicate analytics solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems• Work in an agile environment with short daily standups and weekly showcases• Assist with CI/CD of machine learning models

Experience and Skills:• 3+ years’ experience with Python, R, Python Machine Learning Libraries and SQL• Nice to have experience: Snowflake, MicroStrategy, React (for front end visualizations) or any type of front-end framework development skills• Strong Mathematical skills (statistics)• Experience with common data science toolkits• PHD preferred• Strong communication skills• Knowledge of AWS• Knowledge of Machine learning algorithms and when to apply• Ability to automate data pipelines
