This developer will be working on next generation cutting edge technologies in enabling CCIs modernization of data ecosystem.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Develop and propose technology solutions based on modern architecture, desired Target State of Cloud solutions at Cox, specifically on Hadoop & Public Cloud. - Build, be part of team that develops the next generation of Cloud data warehouse for Cox on Snowflake- Develop solutions based on client needs utilizing technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hbase- Assist in Develop, test, and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes. - Experienced in developing solutions, and hands on knowledge with AWS core services such as EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and net new AWS environment deployments. - Familiarity with leveraging AWS specific services such as Lambda, Athena, EMR, Lake formation, Kinesis. - Develop an integrated and strategic Cloud Solution/ data framework for operational and analytical data needs that align to Enterprise standards. - Build solution prototypes including hands-on coding and configuration. - Define features, phases, and solution requirements in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. - Effectively communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. - Liaise with client stakeholders and solution development teams on an ongoing basis. - Set and continually manage expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

(Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.) - Must have a strong technical background with direct work-related IT architecture specially within Cloud technologies (AWS) and Hadoop experience creating high level design and solution architectures. - Proven experience with enterprise application integration and cloud solutions. - Must be experienced in software development. - Must be able to demonstrate both breadth and depth of understanding of architectures such as SOA, microservice, client-server. - Strong understanding of modern CI/CD practices, including containerization and other forms of virtualization. - Excellent communication skills are a vital part of this role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary as a solution architect. - Demonstrated ability to lead large scale software projects to successful completion on time and on budget. - Able to work and communicate effectively with other talented IT professionals, execute independently, and handle multiple concurrent projects.

Preferred: - Bachelors Degree required in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field. - Excellent client management skills: ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, especially at a level that Director and C-Level executives can understand. - Needs to adapt to various client environments.
