Our client, a leading provider of computing, applications management, IT procurement, network, and telecommunications services to public organizations, is looking to hire a Reports Developer.
Key Responsibilities. Power BI report design, modeling, and development Independently execute complex data analysis across multiple platforms using Excel, Power BI, Power BI Paginated, or other available tools. Strong data analytics skills to troubleshoot data issues Utilize reporting tools to design and deliver dashboards and reports to stakeholders using an agile-like methodology for increased stakeholder engagement and faster time to market Develop SQL scripts to validate financial and statistical measures presented in Power BI and Power BI Paginated reports Demonstrate a deep understanding of the enterprise reporting development and delivery domain areas, using multiple technologies and tool sets Develop detailed requirements documentation including user stories, use cases, design specifications, business process, data flows and acceptance criteria Accountable for deliverables by understanding and balancing the competing demands for project scope, time and quality Understand and apply the enterprise vision and strategy to the project solution while balancing tactical needs to deliver Ensure that all delivered solutions meet the highest quality standards and satisfy all specified business requirements through rigorous validation and testing Manage support issues raised by the business through to resolution and within defined support SLAs Confidently participate in meetings and manage frequent communications with all levels of the organization including key stakeholders and senior management Be very resourceful to proactively identify and engage available resources and subject matter experts in related areas to achieve your goals, with a strong ability to multitask and manage time and priorities under pressure while meeting deadlines.Requirements and Skills. Five years experience with SQL Five years experience with Microsoft s SQL Server Database Three years experience with Microsoft s Excel Three years experience with Microsoft s SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Three years experience with Microsoft s SSRS Report Server Two years experience with Microsoft s SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Two years experience with Microsoft s Power BI Desktop or Power BI Pro Two years experience with Microsoft s Power BI Report Server Two years experience with Governance of Report Development: Policies, Standards, Procedures, Guidelines and Security Two years experience with Microsoft s SharePoint Experience with Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits Experience with SQL Server Database 2016 or higher Experience with Windows Server version 2016 or higher Experience with DB2 LUW database version 10.5 or higher Experience with Microsoft s SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools such as Informatica and WhereScape Experience with IBM s QMF Experience with Microsoft s SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). Experience with Tableau Experience with Teradata database. Experience with Information Builder s WebFOCUS.
