Job Description:

GBS/STS Agile Skill Group is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager that has a strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

This individual would be expected to lead project work group meetings and own regular status communications to stakeholders.

Expected to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior business partners.

Ensures all project deliverables are managed on time and with high quality.

The ideal candidate is a passionate project manager who enjoys working on technology projects and being part of a skill group with like-minded agile professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal against deliverables.
  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
  • Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
  • Project status oversight & reporting on delays/risks/issues across priorities such as MRA2 and SDM
  • Data quality support, such as reviewing reports and partnering with project managers on timely corrections
  • Portfolio/Program oversight and regular required updates such as tangible business outcomes and metrics
  • Quality assurance reviews and audits

Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of relevant Project Management /Delivery Lead experience.
  • Competent understanding of various SDLC methodologies from waterfall through agile
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and excellent organization skills
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and effectively prioritize work to meet competing deadlines
  • Experience with onsite-offshore coordination
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • High technical acumen.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Change Management (ECM) best practices.
  • Experienced with Lean Agile Core Values & Principle
  • Familiar with Scrum & Kanban Frameworks. Experience using JIRA.
  • PMP Certified

Desired Skills:
  • Program Management Experience.
  • Agile related certifications - SAFe Scrum Master, CSM, PSM
  • Previous banking experience - familiar with Change Management, MRA2 ECMprocesses.
  • Risk Management
  • Previous experience as hands-on developer
