You will be working with a highly motivated and skilled team of software engineers to deliver world-class software solutions for the Petroleum and Convenience Store industry. Restaurants, shops, banks and airports come to this firm for hardware, software and services. Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent industry experience
- Required 6+ years of experience as a product owner
- Experience working in Agile/JIRA environment
- Experience working in a software and/or computer hardware development environment
- Direct hands on experience with writing user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Experience authoring Technical User Stories / Use Cases and excellent writing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous hands on software development experience
- Ability to understand, communicate and engage effectively with multiple stakeholders and interactions
- Not an order taker, will think, question and drive out business value
- Confidence to communicate and bring new ideas to stimulate group discussions
- Inquisitive questioning skills
- Analytical thinker and problem solver
- Detail oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Ability to discuss technical concepts with development team
- Hands on experience in installation, configuration and support of enterprise software
- Experience with POS retail software
- Experience with SCRUM methodology
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvements and Six Sigma lean principles
- PMI PMP, CSM certification
- Understanding of Cloud platforms and nature of hosting of products on cloud platforms
