Job Summary

We are looking for a Solution Owner, Manager of Software Engineering to build and execute the strategy for our member portal solutions. Successful candidates will be comfortable collaborating with end users, delving into technical topics with engineers, producing thoughtful analysis, and presenting to a wide range of stakeholders; equally, possessing the skill to build a product roadmap and feature set to deliver new capabilities to the market. As part of the IT team, you'll be responsible for driving change while managing current performance of our existing solutions. Ideal candidates are excited about providing simple experiences that make life easier for our business partners. You'll will need to work with both our business side as well as drive the technical delivery of the product using our vendor teams while also communicating clearly and effectively with our analytically minded business teams.

Job Responsibilities

Serve as a Solution Owner, Manager of Software Engineering leading a lean team to develop and enhance product features -
  • Define product direction, prioritize, and manage features that will deliver high-leverage value and intuitive experiences
  • Gather intelligence from different business units about Application/System/Process needs, enhancements and future growth
  • Partner with dependent application/system owners/creators to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfully
  • Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
  • Evaluate, test, and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes
  • Compile and distribute reports on application development and deployment
  • Drive UAT testing
  • Evaluate and draw conclusions from analysis
  • You will translate business strategies into products that delight our business partners and position us to scale.
  • Collaborate and work closely with internal partners. From the business to software engineering, infrastructure, and analytics, you will be fostering relationships with coworkers across the company to support their efforts while delivering well-managed services at scale.
  • Analyze user feedback and data from existing platforms and combine these insights with market trends to drive product strategy.
  • Advocate for the latest technology patterns (cloud, BI etc) that are relevant to establishing Compass as a leader in technology-driven F&B world - Consult with the executive team and the IT leadership the new technology and its implications in the industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience; MBA preferred
  • At least 7 years of Software product management experience
  • At least 4 years of Agile product management experience
  • Experience in financial services sector and or financial accounting is required
  • 2 years Data Analytics or data scientist experience
  • Prefer experience with Sitecore, ReactJS, & .net
  • Experience with customer centric solutions
  • Experience with Cloud serverless technologies
