Job Description
We are looking for someone who is a generalist; self-motivated, a strong multitasker, professional, thrives in a high passed environment and detail oriented who can grow with our company.
As a Level 3 Engineer, you will work directly with customers and partners providing expertise in hardware and software installations, troubleshooting and configuration recommendations. This position reports to the IT
Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Function
Exceptional customer service skills, organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Multitasking in high pressure situations
Plans and coordinates system utilization, and performs growth analysis and capacity planning
Provides installation, support, and maintenance of servers and other computer systems
Efficiently manages configuration of desktops, servers and services (IIS, e-mail, AD, DNS, etc.)
Assists with planning for and responding to service outages and other problems (SLA's)
Must be able to quickly and correctly diagnose problems with computer systems and introduce the best solution
Ability to learn new technology quickly
Will be responsible for taking calls on an On-Call rotation
Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by the Service Manager
Travel to customers offices when needed (reliable transportation is required)
Must be punctual
Required Experience
BS degree in Computer Science or related field experience. (Required)
Must have 7 yrs. plus experience as a Systems Administrator or Server Engineer
Current MCSE certification
Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 or better
Microsoft Windows Server Roles: AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, GPO
Advanced PowerShell
Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013
Strong Performance analysis and troubleshooting skills
Strong documentation skills
Hands on equipment experience (rack, and stack, physical wiring)
Preferred Experience
Certifications including MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, CCNP, and Network+
Technical Knowledge (Not limited to)
Windows Server SBS/2008/2012/2016
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Intune
Windows PC Pro 7,8.1,10
Spam Filtering technologies: Message Labs, MX Logics, Barracuda
URL Filtering: Barracuda
Healthcare Industry Experience is a Plus
Backup Solutions: Acronis, Cloud Backup and DR
Good understanding of Networking
ConnectWise Experience
SAN Storage (different technologies and disaster recovery)
Citrix Experience
Printer/Fax/Scanner Troubleshooting
Terminal Services, Microsoft failover clustering
