Empire Roofing is seeking an experienced commercial roofing service technician. This position will entail leak seeking, roof repairs, field inspections, developing a scope of work with a budget, putting together a materials list, and executing work from start to completion. The applicant must be competent in a variety of roofing systems.
Responsibilities :
Build/develop relationships with new and existing customers through excellent service and communication
Diagnose and make professional repairs on all roof types
Understand how every major roof type will leak or fail, and determine life expectancy of the roof based on this knowledge
Perform field inspections, and develop a scope of work to maximize the life expectancy of every major roof type, and provide verbal labor estimates to supervisor when necessary
Perform all required work, combining safety, customer satisfaction, and quality, all while maintaining the budget
Communicating and coordinating with the office staff
Must follow all safety rules and regulations
Basic Qualifications :
1+ years previous commercial roofing experience
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE with a clean driving record
Pass a drug test
Be able to work well on your own and in a team environment
Must have the ability to consistently lift over 50 pounds
Be willing to work long days outside in all types of weather
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is a plus

Salary: $15.00 to $30.00 /hour
