Come join us on our journey to create solutions for a sustainable future!Senior Reliability Engineer (2000749) – Attapulgus, GAWhere the Chemistry HappensWe are looking for a professional like you to develop and implement reliability engineering systems for the Attapulgus site. This position is discipline-specific and has a long-term and strategic focus. In this role, you will be responsible for driving reliability performance by using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques. You will also provide technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel, lead or participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses and monitor KPI data for early identification and resolution of reliability issues. You may also collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related to design review, repair and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities. Additionally, you will provide technical support for troubleshooting of problems and optimization of PM and PdM programs. Lastly, you will ensure a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturing tools.This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your superior computer skills including CMMS software, manufacturing software, spreadsheets and word processing software. Your extensive knowledge of reliability tools, practices, and other common equipment associated with a manufacturing facility will be essential as you expedite improvements, optimize costs, and improve overall asset effectiveness.
Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will develop a multi-year reliability improvement plan that includes facilitation and execution of capital and expense projects for various operating units at the site.
Leveraging your education and professional background in Engineering, you will supply your engineering expertise in the specification, design, and construction of projects in accordance with plant design requirements, BASF standards, and regulatory requirements.
Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will serve you well as you collaborate with plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and research personnel.
Your sound familiarity with instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment will be an asset as you provide technical support to the Operations Group, Maintenance Group Leader and multi-craft technicians on challenging equipment repair issues.
Your ability to make crucial business decisions will be valued as you will identify areas of cost reduction and prepare preventative Maintenance requirements for new and existing equipment.
Working as a team-oriented professional, you will be ready and able to lead and direct members of the maintenance team.
