OverviewPosition Summary:The Director of Software Development Platform will be responsible for design, implementation of software and technologies that are the underpinnings of HealthEdge software products.The Director will work closely with customers as well as the Product Management and Support departments to create and update technologies and solutions.We are looking for a collaborative, positive, entrepreneurial minded professional who will engage team and organizational colleagues to improve and resolve product development issues, achieve timely delivery, and promote product delivery goals.Your Impact:Technical leadership and oversight of platform teams in US and India
Work with Product Management on new products and enhancements
Develop, implement and improve the software development process, including analysis, design, code development, test, and support
Work with customers on new features, enhancements and configuration in an agile manner
Work with the Technical Operations team assisting escalated support issues
Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII
What You Bring:10+ years of software development experience
5+ years of experience with client/server, web, and SaaS software development
5+ years of experience direct supervision of software development teams
Well-versed in agile methodologies, scrum, in particular
Experience with delivering products in a SaaS model
Experience in event driven-driven software development, micro services architecture, Docker / Kubernetes, container-based deployment model and CI/CD
Experience with healthcare software products, services and customers is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Customer service orientation and good interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate with customer leadership teams
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Energetic personality and experience working at all organizational levels
Ability to engage and motivate engineering teams
Excellent project management and organization skills
