Position Title: ERP Business Analyst - Senior

Work Location: Fort Gordon, Georgia - U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence

Job Summary: Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is looking for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Analyst - Senior. This contract provides the following Information Technology Services (ITS): system administration, help desk assistance; hardware and software installation and troubleshooting. Additional allowances may be flexed to meet manpower or service(s) requirements that can possibly occur later that could include but not limited to: Additional Tech Support for hardware/software installation, troubleshooting and Customer Support; SharePoint Administration; Video Teleconferencing (VTC) scheduling, management, and services; Database design and administration; Wireless Device Management/Services, and procurement of required IT equipment and supplies. The candidate shall provide business operations and executive assistance support including, but not limited to: assisting the Leadership Team in strategic and programmatic communications from program plan through execution; maintaining quality services by carrying out organization standards in all work products; preparing reports and presentations by collection, analyzing, and summarizing information; participating as members of a group achieving project objectives; creating, organizing, and maintaining SharePoint and other document libraries with information provided from briefings, acquisition packages, and other documentation; tracking and reviewing incoming correspondence and taskings, monitoring suspense's, and making recommendations for assignment and revisions to actions; handling and providing coordination with internal and external organizations of all operations functions including calendar appointments, meeting coordination and support, visitor management, and security compliance; preparing packages for reviews that are briefings, documents, or any other material that must be staffed through senior Government staff members and leaders and/or coordination with other organizations as necessary for external signatures; prepares memorandums, letters, reports, and spreadsheets as required; organizes all files; coordinates and assists in development/revisions Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); coordinating events such as town halls or other program/organization level meetings; managing visitors and associated security requirements; and managing office supplies. Occasionally, may work directly with clients, requiring good communication skills, as well as fundamental technical troubleshooting abilities. ERP business analysts, for example, may handle a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Review incoming support requests and independently work towards an appropriate and timely resolution
  • Capture detailed requirements for blueprinting, solution design, implementation and functional testing for business units in SAP
  • Collaborate with Services and Support management to ensure timely, appropriate implementation of processes to drive corporate initiatives and services results
  • Play a key role in the development of business reviews, presentations, reporting, and analysis required for monthly, quarterly, and annual management meetings
  • Strong SAP technical, configuration, and business area knowledge in MM/SD module B2C, B2B and retail
  • Develop the business requirements management plan
  • On-schedule task delivery within planned cost and agreed scope
  • Develop knowledge on all HR & finance modules as cross-training
  • Analyses and optimizes the inter-relationships between business processes, procedures, systems, interfaces, and organizational structures
  • Investigates and models business functions, processes, information flows and data structures using various analysis tools and techniques
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining ERP systems
  • Configuring functions and workflow to facilitate ERP integration with other applications
  • Defining requirements, scope and objectives related to overall business strategies
  • Translating business requirements into ERP solutions
  • Collaborating with the IT team, business management, external consultants, end users and other stakeholders
  • Creating user guides, training curriculum, policies and other pertinent documentation for internal and external partners
  • Researching, troubleshooting, and mitigating transactional and other ERP issues
  • Performing business systems and workflow analysis, and disseminating technical communications.
  • Other duties assigned.

Education and/or Experience/Skills Required:

  • MA/MS degree with at least 10 years' experience
  • BA/BS & 12+ years experience
  • IAT Level II
  • Possess and maintain an IT-I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and IAT-II/IAM-II certifications IAW DoD 8570.01-M Security +

Abilities:

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature.

Security Clearance: DoD active security clearance may be required at a high-level security. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited, to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weigh up to thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.
