Care is provided through the use of the nursing process while maintaining quality of care and optimal patient outcomes and in a manner that is cost effective . The registered nurse performs assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions and evaluates the effectiveness of care. The registered nurse participates in unit based and organizational quality improvement initiatives, meets continuing education requirements, participates in student/new employee orientations/teaching activities, upholds Patient Care Services philosophy and objectives, demonstrates professional growth and development through involvement in professional organizations, reviews professional literature and participates in continuing education programs.Position RequirementsBSN. Current Registered Nurse License (Georgia). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
