DescriptionThe Senior Quality Engineer carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. The Senior Quality Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Quality Engineer designs, programs, simulates, and tests automated processes, and is responsible for detailed design specifications and other documents. Familiar with coding. Will perform and lead tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. May create test data for applications. Documents and works to resolve complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Acts as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers. Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills. Performs complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.Required QualificationsRequires Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of technical experience

Performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.

Performs complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred QualificationsComputer Science or Computer Engineering degree or equivalent
