New grooming salon in Grovetown seeking to hire a compassionate dog/cat groomer. Looking for a team player with good customer service skills and knowledge of dog/cat husbandry. Must have at least 1 year of grooming experience and have good quality grooming tools in working order. Our focus is on providing both excellent customer service and an environment that is as stress free as possible for the pets in our care.
Duties:
- Interact with customers and their pets
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Bathe, dry, brush, clean ears, trim/file nails of dogs in our care
- Perform grooms/haircuts on dogs in our care
- Clean the grooming area, vacuum, sweep floors, wipe out kennels
Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds. Must be willing to work some weekends. Pay is commission based.
