You will also need to represent local management, make decisions as well as planning, organizing and scheduling meetings and project/program/business reviews. A high level of integrity and confidentiality is essential to this role. Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills, independent decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally significant. In this role you will interact with executives across multiple operating companies and customers globally in a dynamic work environment, while remaining flexible, dedicated, resourceful and efficient.This role reports directly to the Vice President of the VMware Americas Partner Organization and will interface regularly with both VMware APO leadership as well as external partners, customers and Vendors.

Support the day to day admin and operational needs of the Vice President, representing Sales Leaders in various tasks, projects and meetings as required, preparing necessary file content for review and engaging with multiple source points to consolidate data.

Own and drive the consolidation of final presentation deliverables for key business reviews eg. Business reviews

Consolidate, prepare, gather and share outcomes of meetings lead by APO Leadership team

Act as the schedule gatekeeper: Schedule and run a demanding and complex Outlook calendar, prioritize and resolve schedule conflicts, and handle scheduling challenges arising from urgent requests - while also making the executive available and accessible

Liaise with senior level executives and their assistants throughout VMware and outside the company within both the channel, customer and Vendor landscape and throughout the Dell Technologies family of companies

Manage domestic and international travel, including pre and post-travel debrief, expense reports, etc.

Coordinate meetings/calls with external customers/attendees and their Executive Assistants, as well as collaborate effectively across internal key internal decision makers and influence/develop mutually beneficial peer relationships

Schedule team and customer meetings (onsite/offsite), team events, etc. including catering, if necessary, and partner closely with other members of the VMware local and global teams for organizational planning, meetings and events.

Coordinate with visitors to the VMware offices, ensuring their visitor badges are prepared in advance, guest WiFi access is available.

Support APO Sales management team in order to initiate purchase orders, reconcile invoices and any other finance related tasks.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of the Channel is strongly preferred

Able to demonstrate analytical problem solving and project management skills

Consistent record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional departments

Minimum 10 years of high level, complex executive administration work experience at a senior level.

Experience with extensive and domestic travel itineraries

Discretion, tact and excellent judgment; high degree of integrity when handling confidential and sensitive information

Polished, professional and extraordinary poise under pressure

Positive and personable with strong problem solving skills and an upbeat, “can do” attitude

Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint : SFDC experience a plus

Able to work with individuals at all levels of the organization

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High energy and the desire to learn about the business and be part of a bold organization with transformation at top of mind
