What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Senior Software Developer - Database within our TA Connections division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Lexington, KY In this role, you will Design and develop new APIs and backend systems to support hotel searching, booking and payment processing activities. This position will also maintain multiple legacy systems including client facing websites and standalone applications.

You will report directly to VP of Software Engineering and regularly collaborate with the teams.

How We Work As a Senior Software Developer - Database you will be expected to work in a virtual environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
  • Work with business stakeholders, QA and system analysts to create application requirements
  • Architect solutions that meet client service level agreements.
  • Write clean and testable code.
  • Resolve performance issues and application defects
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on application development experience using C# and .Net Framework or MuleSoft
  • Experience building RESTful APIs in a high transaction environment
  • Understanding of unit testing and code analysis.
  • Detailed understanding stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views in MySQL or MSSQL
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Aptitude for problem solving at an in-depth level.
  • Can understand work-processes and data integration issues.
  • Strong communication skills (English as dominate language preferred)

  • Data modeling
  • MySQL or MSSQL database administration
