Job SummaryThis position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility by counting items from a predesigned list or report, including staged, quarantined and rejected materials.MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

Perform all inventory cycle counts as scheduled (timely and accurately), including hand counting packaging and scale weighing or measuring all materials.

Count items in all areas of the plants, including all statuses (on hand, hold, inspection, shipping).

Participate in root cause analysis to prevent occurrence of non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.

Work with necessary departments to solve inventory issues such as missing or unaccounted for inventory.

Conduct inventory sweeps for expired product.

Perform all stock verification requests for inventory timely and accurately.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

High School completion or equivalent (GED)

Previous warehousing or cycle counting experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Understanding or experience with ERP systems

Basic math skills (ability to physically count inventory, etc.)

Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Detail-oriented

Ability to solve practical problems

The associate works near moving mechanical machinery and noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The physical requirements of the job are for associates to talk, hear, bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb height, reach above shoulder height, crouch, kneel, balance, and push/pull. Furthermore, the job requires associates to lift/carry/push or pull up to 35 pounds with or without assistance. Associates use both hands for repetitive actions such as grasping and manipulating as well as both.
